The objective is to construct a relationship between vast collections of photographs and Geographical Information databases through various techniques (ray-tracing, perspectiveprojection).
 
 The candidate must have programming skills. A good knowledge in GIS and Geomatics will also be an asset. Person must have obtained his Master Degree in year 2007-2008.

Scholarship 2009 Winter School on High Resolution Electron Microscopy, Arizona State University

The aim of the school is to introduce the theory and practice of high resolution electron microscopy to scientists currently using transmission electron microscopes for materials science studies. It is expected that people taking the course will have some familiarity with basic crystallography, diffraction contrast and routine microscope operation.
